A total of 13 UUMIT staff participated in the cyber security talk session titled "Secure Your Digital Life" which was held at The Light Hotel, Seberang Jaya, Penang on 1 February 2023.

The session was organized by Ofisgate Sdn Bhd, a company that has been involved in cyber security for over 20 years.

The talk started with an opening speech by Mr. Shamsul Bahari as the CEO of Ofisgate Sdn Bhd. The next talk titled "Excuse Me, Your Privacy is Showing" was delivered by Mr Jazannul Azriq from CyberSecurity Malaysia. Various information related to cyber security was shared with the participants.

He also explained about the application developed by CyberSecurity Malaysia to detect any malicious application that may be in the user's phone. The application is called "MASSA" and can be downloaded from Google Playstore (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mycert.ctrc.massalite)

The lecture session continued with the topic "Secure Your Digital Life" which was delivered by En Nur Hazri or better known as Pok Min. He has provided various useful information as well as shown various demos of how hackers or fraudsters can hack mobile phones.

To conclude the event, a quiz related to cyber security was held followed by a lucky draw session. The ceremony ends around 1 pm.
